Advocating for a better Society
for animals and
humans.

Jowelle

This is me

I was born in the beautiful twin island of Trinidad and Tobago and have been a passionate advocate for justice for humans and animals for as long as I can remember.

Apart from running, my business in San Fernando, I remain a keen defender of justice for those without a voice; the marginalized and vulnerable.

Patriotism is second nature to me, I have supported charities, NGOs and worked with individuals to make our country a better place.

Political career

Apart from my lifelong quest to remain involved and committed to the development of my city and Trinidad, I launched my campaign to represent San Fernando West as an independent Member of Parliament. This was based on my belief in equal opportunities for all: the disabled, the senior citizens, single mother, and the impoverished. My focus was on access to labour markets in the Greater San Fernando area and the revitalization of its infrastructure and waterfront.

On February 15, 2022, I was sworn in as a temporary Senator.

I have also been invited to attend the International Visitor Leadership Programme by the United States Government's Department of State as well as to speak at the House of Commons in the United Kingdom.
